Bekah grew up locally in Stamford, CT! She first learned to swim around four years old. During her free time, she loves to read and go fishing.
Bekah first started to swim on a competitive swim team at the age of 7 years old. She joined because she loved being in the water. At 13, she started swimming for Chelsea Piers Swim Club where she was pushed to be her best! The competitive environment really helped grow her love for the water and the sport.
We Asked Bekah, what is your fondest memory from swimming? Her answer was:
“Swimming has taught me very important lessons like perseverance when things get hard. I also learned patience because swimming sometimes takes time before you see results. Finally, swimming taught me about determination, and how I should not give up until my goals are reached!”
