Sherman Lau

By Sherman Lau

Sherman grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, and swam competitively for the Wilton Y Wahoos for 12 years and the Norwalk High School Varsity Swim Team for 4 years, where he was the team captain as well as the 100-Yard Freestyle record holder. Sherman was also the 100-Yard Freestyle & Breastroke FCIAC & LL State Champion.

Sherman loves to give back by teaching and finds the privilege to be able to see the student’s progression through teaching to be truly fulfilling. Seeing Cristina’s and Amerigo’s passion and work ethic to make their students better every class, gave him confidence that Sweet Blue Swim Academy is something he wanted to be a part of.

Sherman loves staying active! Other than swimming throughout his childhood, he also became a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

In March of 2021, Sherman became a full-time member of the Sweet Blue team as the Director of Marketing and Communications.
