Tom McLaughlin

Tom is a high school history teacher in Norwalk and is a native of Connecticut. He attended Southington (CT) High School and swam competitively for the Blue Knights before going to Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY where he continued swimming competitively at the college level. Tom’s specialty in swimming was the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events, earning both state and conference accolades in competition. Tom has also coached several high school and club teams and has a strong understanding of conditioning and stroke fundamentals. Tom comes to Sweet Blue Swim to teach these fundamentals as he believes in the academy’s programs to be the best form of instruction to all beginning swimmers.
